The Village Design Team and the Parish Council provided every village household with a copy of the Abbotts Ann Village Design Statement. You can view and download your own copy of this detailed Village Design statement. To download this document in PDF format click HERE The main purpose of this document is to record the results of our consultation process on what the members of the community consider to be the distinctive and important features of the village, and to set out guidelines for future development. We hope that you will agree that the document provides an attractive record of the village today. However, the real purpose of the Village Design Statement is that of guiding future development. This document has been approved by Test Valley Borough Council as Supplementary Planning Guidance, and will now be consulted before decisions are made on all future planning applications in the Parish. We are grateful to all those who have assisted in the research and preparation of this document. It was produced entirely by members of the village, who took the photographs, created the illustrations, wrote the text, reviewed the content, designed the layout and managed the printing of the document.
